Adding Date Overrides For Holidays And One-Offs

Override your normal hours on specific dates to block time off or open unusual hours.

Availability & Calendars

Override your normal hours on specific dates to block time off or open unusual hours.

Your weekly hours describe a typical week, but real weeks have holidays, travel days, and the occasional evening you decide to open up. Date overrides let you change your availability on specific calendar dates without touching your regular schedule.

What You Can Do With An Override

  • Block a day off. Mark a date as unavailable so no one can book, even though it is a normal working day.
  • Change the hours for one date. Open only in the afternoon on a day you normally work all day, or add extra evening hours for a single date.

How To Add One

  1. Open the schedule you want to adjust.
  2. Add a date override and choose the specific date.
  3. Either mark it unavailable, or set the custom time ranges for that date.
  4. Save. Your normal weekly hours resume automatically after that date.

Overrides always take priority over your weekly hours for the dates they cover, so they are the reliable way to handle holidays and exceptions.
