Google Calendar Appointment Scheduling, Both Directions
Connect Google Calendar to Appntmnts.io and your booking page stops being a guess. Appntmnts reads the times you are already busy so those slots never appear, and writes every confirmed booking straight back into your calendar with a Google Meet link attached.
Also Supported
Google Calendar is not the only option. Two-way sync works the same way with all of these.
One connected calendar on the Free plan, up to six on paid plans.
Four Things Happen, In This Order
You Connect Google Calendar
One click from Calendar settings inside your account. Appntmnts requests two scopes and nothing else, and you can revoke them at any time.
Your Busy Times Disappear From Your Page
Appntmnts reads the start and end times of events that make you busy. Those slots stop being offered on your public booking page immediately.
A Booking Writes Itself Into Your Calendar
When someone books, the event is created on the calendar you nominated, with the guest as an attendee and a Google Meet link attached.
Reschedules And Cancellations Follow
If the booking moves, the calendar event moves. If it is cancelled, the event is removed. You never maintain two records of the same meeting.
Exactly What Appntmnts Asks Google For
Two Scopes. Here Is Each One And Why It Is Needed.
calendar.readonly
Read Your Busy Times
So your public booking page never offers a slot you are already committed to. Appntmnts reads only the start and end times needed to calculate availability. It does not read event contents, attachments, or attendee lists.
calendar.events
Write Your Bookings
So a confirmed booking becomes a real calendar event, and so that event can be updated when the booking is rescheduled or removed when it is cancelled. Nothing else on your calendar is created or modified.
Never Sold
Your Google data is never sold and never shared with third parties beyond what is needed to provide this feature to you.
Never Used For Advertising
Nothing read from your calendar is used to target advertising, here or anywhere else.
Never Used To Train Models
Your calendar data is not used to train any model.
Encrypted At Rest
Access tokens are encrypted at rest, and deleted the moment you disconnect the calendar.
Appntmnts use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The full detail is in our privacy policy. You can revoke access at any time from Calendar settings in your account or from your Google Account permissions page.
About The Google Connection
What Appntmnts Reads, What It Writes, And How To Turn It Off.
Only the start and end times of the events that make you busy, so your booking page never offers a slot you are already committed to. Appntmnts does not read event contents, attachments, or attendee lists.
A calendar event when someone books with you, updated when that booking is rescheduled and removed when it is cancelled. Nothing else is created or modified.
Two scopes. calendar.readonly to read your busy times, and calendar.events to create, update, and remove the bookings you take through Appntmnts.
Yes. When your Google account is connected, Appntmnts creates a Google Meet link on the booking from your own account. This is included on every plan, including Free.
Open Calendar settings inside your account and disconnect. That deletes the stored tokens. You can also revoke access directly at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
The Free plan connects one calendar. Paid plans connect up to six, so you can protect availability across a work calendar and a personal one at the same time.
