Information We Collect
We collect the account details you provide (such as name, email, and timezone), the booking and availability data you create, and the information your guests submit when they book with you. We also log limited technical and security metadata needed to run the service.
How We Use Information
We use this information to operate your booking pages, sync connected calendars, send confirmations and reminders, process subscription billing, provide support, and keep the platform secure.
Mobile Numbers & SMS
If you opt in to text reminders when booking, we use your mobile number only to send reminders about that appointment. Mobile numbers collected for SMS are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes, and are not shared with anyone other than the messaging provider that delivers the text on our behalf. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance.
Sharing & Third Parties
We share data only with the providers needed to deliver the features you enable, such as your connected calendar (Google, Microsoft), video conferencing, payment processing (Stripe), and email or SMS delivery. We do not sell your personal information.
Data Protection & Retention
We apply technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data, and retain it for as long as your account is active or as needed to meet legal and operational requirements.
Google User Data
When you choose to connect a Google Calendar, Appntmnts requests two scopes. We use calendar.readonly to read the times you are already busy, so your public booking page never offers a slot you are unavailable for. We use calendar.events to create a calendar event when someone books with you, and to update or remove that event when the booking is rescheduled or cancelled. We read only the start and end times needed to calculate availability. We do not read, store, or process the contents of your calendar events, attachments, or attendee lists beyond what is required to write your own bookings. Your Google data is never sold, never used for advertising, never used to train any model, and never shared with third parties except as required to provide this feature to you. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect a calendar at any time from Calendar settings inside your account, which deletes the stored tokens, and you can revoke access directly from your Google Account permissions page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Appntmnts use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Microsoft & Other Calendar Data
Calendars connected through Microsoft Outlook or a CalDAV server (such as Apple iCloud, Fastmail, or Nextcloud) are treated the same way. We read busy times to protect your availability and write your bookings back to the calendar you nominate. Credentials and tokens are encrypted at rest and are removed when you disconnect the calendar.
Your Choices
You can view and update your account information at any time, disconnect integrations, and request an export or deletion of your data by contacting us.
