Booking Pages & Event Types
Each event type can be Free, charged by Card, Pay In Person, or Pay Later. Set it per event type.
Payment is configured per event type, so you can offer free intro calls and paid sessions side by side. When you create or edit an event type you choose one of four payment modes.
The Four Payment Modes
- Free. No payment is collected. The guest simply books a time.
- Card. The guest pays by card at the moment of booking. This requires your own Stripe account to be connected so the money settles directly to you.
- Pay In Person. The booking is confirmed now and the guest pays you when they arrive, for example cash at an in-person appointment.
- Pay Later. The booking is confirmed without immediate payment, and you arrange collection separately, such as by invoice.
Setting A Price
For paid event types you set the price on the event type itself. Guests see that price before they confirm. If you are collecting by card, connect your Stripe account first so charges can be processed. You can also apply discount coupons to bring the price down at checkout.
