More than 30 years of safe water, reliable infrastructure, and honest public service.
Our story
The Sunridge Water & Utility District was established in 1992 to serve a fast-growing residential corridor in the Sunridge area of Arizona. What began as a small groundwater operation serving fewer than 2,000 connections has grown into a full-service utility with more than 340 miles of distribution pipeline and 28,000 customers.
We are governed by an elected board of directors and overseen by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. Every dollar we collect is reinvested in infrastructure, operations, and public programs that serve our customers directly.
What we stand for
We test our water hundreds of times each year and publish full results. Our customers deserve to know exactly what is in their water.
As a public utility district, we are governed by an elected board of directors and operate in the public interest -- not for profit.
We lead regional conservation programs, reduce distribution losses through proactive infrastructure maintenance, and invest in efficient operations.
From routine billing questions to 24/7 emergency response, our team shows up when customers need us -- every single day.
