A public agency dedicated to expanding access to safe, stable, and affordable housing across Maricopa County for 38 years.
Our mission
The Maricopa Valley Housing Authority was established in 1986 under Arizona state statute to administer federal housing assistance programs on behalf of communities throughout Maricopa County.
Today MVHA manages more than 2,400 housing units and administers thousands of Housing Choice Vouchers, connecting low- and moderate-income families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities to safe, stable housing they can afford.
Our values
We are committed to serving every eligible resident without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, or familial status.
As a public agency, MVHA operates with full transparency — annual reports, audited financials, and board meeting minutes are available to the public.
Our programs are designed around the real needs of the people we serve. Residents have a voice in how MVHA operates through our Resident Advisory Board.
Federal and state housing funds are managed responsibly to maximize impact, maintain property quality, and reach as many households as possible.
