A Sunridge food truck that grew into the East Valley's go-to street food crew.
Our story
Desert Heat Food Truck was born in 2018 when lifelong Sunridge residents Marco and Yoli Espinoza loaded a secondhand truck with a flat-top grill, a cooler of marinated carne asada and a stack of handmade tortillas. They set up at the Saturday market and sold out in under two hours.
Word spread fast. Within a year they had a full weekly route, a catering menu and a waiting list for private events. The mission never changed: make food from scratch, treat every customer like family, and never stop grinding.
What we stand for
Desert Heat started at a single Sunridge weekend market in 2018. We had one truck, one menu and one rule: no shortcuts. That rule has never changed.
Every tortilla is pressed by hand each morning. Every sauce, every marinade, every salsa is made in-house. If it isn't fresh, it doesn't leave the truck.
We grew because of the East Valley community -- markets, events, regulars who show up every week. We give back by supporting local schools and food drives.
No reservations, no dress code, no fuss. Find us at your local market, book us for your event, or just follow the truck. Great food should be for everyone.
Catering area
Our catering truck rolls to corporate campuses, parks, private properties and event venues across these communities.
